For the love of skunk

We've had Jada now for about seven months and she's been a real treat to own as a pet. I wouldn't necessarily recommend a skunk for everyone. Still, if you love animals, have an even temperament, and enjoy a constant well of patience for what can only be referred to as a tiny tornado, then a skunk will be a gem in your life.

Some general thoughts-

Potted plants are a "no", unless they sit at least 3 feet off the ground and are unscalable in any way. Jada is better at moving dirt than a roto-tiller.

Trash cans should also be covered or off the ground.

Skunks are not big fans of freeze-dried bugs, although Jada likes grasshoppers.

Skunks love a challenge. I found a great little at toy with a rocking bottom and homes for treats. She'll play with the toy several times a day and can be really amusing to watch.
